Why join our box program?
It’s a great way to access local, organic, and healthy food. It is based on the idea of ‘eating with the seasons’, and is the most environmentally sustainable way of accessing your food. You are choosing to support a local farmer and are connected with your food through every part of the process. We love getting to know the people that eat our food and being part of their community. It also helps us to have an income at a time of year when we wouldn’t otherwise. This allows us to invest in seeds, compost, soil amendments, farm maintenance and more without taking out a loan.
What will I get?
We grow over 30 varieties… cucumbers, tomatoes, asparagus, potatoes, basil, garlic, peas, beans, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, beets, summer squash, pumpkin, winter squash, salad mix, arugula, spinach, head lettuce, kale, radishes, parsley, cilantro, celery, apples, garlic salt, preserves and more. Picked at it’s ripest, you will get a mix of fresh and healthy choices. Each week one can expect a nice mix of five to ten varieties of what is in season.
We follow permaculture and biodynamic principles to grow healthy, nutrient dense food.
